Farm Shop expands branch network

Farm Shop, the one-stop agricultural shop, continues to grow its footprint by expanding into new areas by opening 4 more branches in locations where it is convenient for those communities to access their products. It opened the new branches in the last two months in Murehwa, Mount Darwin, Dotito and Bindura to serve farmers in those agriculturally productive areas.

With an extensive branch network of 27 branches across Zimbabwe, Farm Shop has varied offerings catering to the needs of farmers and the agricultural sector at large. They have in stock crop and vegetable seed, fertilisers, chemicals, day-old chicks, animal health, hardware and farm tools among other essential supplies.

Speaking on the expansion of their branch network, the Farm Shop spokesperson Mr Christopher Gatsi said that they were answering to the needs of their customers to open stores near where they conducted their farming activities.

“The expansion in Mashonaland Central and West allows us to provide increased service, accessibility, and convenience to current and future clients. As we continue to expand the size of our footprint, we become a better choice and a more viable option for the farming community in these previously marginalised areas,” he said.

The Murehwa branch was the first to open its doors in the current expansion drive on the 11th of September 2019. Mount Darwin followed this on 14 October, Dotito on 21 October 2019 and more recently, the Bindura branch that opened its doors on the 8thof November in time for the preparation and planting season.

“We have created added convenience for our valued customers by opening branches in areas easy for our customers to access, particularly close to town centres, where small-scale farmers into maize, cotton, tobacco and other crop production can access supplies and services that people know us for,” he said.

Customers who visit the new branches will access services provided by trained Farm Shop staff in all aspects of product knowledge to assist farmers with their particular farming requirements. They will enjoy the same discounts and specials extended to those in the branch network including the opportunity to take part in the Flash Sale that is running at the moment as well as the popular Shamwari Yehurudza Christmas Promotion commencing on the 1st of December. Farm shop will have a nationwide product promotion with twelve products on display throughout Christmas for farmers to make bulk purchases at discounted prices.

Farm Shop continues to expand into new areas in order to make it convenient for the locals in those communities to access their wide variety of products and expertise of their staff.
