Gospel Musician Quincy Moyo Album Launch set for Mid July

With support from Zingoma Trust, Quincy Gqoka Moyo will this weekend launch his third album entitled “GRACE UPON GRACE’ to be held in the late afternoon of the 15th of July 2018 at Jesus Ministries International in Bulawayo.

In light of the many challenges faced by gospel musicians today, Zingoma Trust is an organisation that was set with a vision of facilitating, promoting and packaging Zimbabwe Gospel music for the global market through promoting development of a financially viable and sustainable music industry as well as promoting and harnessing talents at grassroots level.

Quincy Gqoka Moyo is a 38 year old happily married mother of 3 sons. She is also formally employed. The artist is this weekend launching her 3rd 8 tracked album with the songs “Thand’umakhelwane, Ithuba Lam’ remix and Chikondi plus 2 instrumentals. In her statement she said “this album is quiet promising and I believe it can be the national anthem of this day and days and decades to come”. She is promising fireworks in the music industry and going even more professional. Quincy Moyo was enrolled with Harare Poly since 2006 and has been busy with her studies and her family.

 

She has been doing shows around the city schools and also attending state occasions like Women’s Day and is preparing to attend the Galas as they come. She is in the praise and worship team at her local church and leads sometimes.

 

Quincy Gqoka Moyo released her first album in 2004 entitled “MY TURN.” It was a 6 track album plus 1 instrumental which made it a 7 track album. In 2005 she got an opportunity to go and minister in song in South Africa Giyane Stadium where she shared stage with Winnie Mashava. She also managed to go to South Africa in 2006 and shared stage with Soli Mohulu, the Sinyakanyana se rihututunyana. Back home , in 2007 , she had an opportunity to further her music talent by being involved at the Pakare Paye Centre where she had an opportunity to work with the Super star, Oliver Mtukudzi and was given a task to conduct the choir; Pakare Paye Ensemble. She staged with Oliver Mtukudzi in one of his birthday batches in 2007 with the late Chiwoniso Marayire and Sam Mtukudzi the late also.

In 2015 Quincy Gqoka Moyo launched her 2nd album which is an 8 track album entitled “THE BEAUTY OF SALVATION” with the songs like Inqobile that has dominated in the local radio stations. She also shot a video with one of the songs in her 2nd album entitled “Ngiyabonga “. It is also one of the top viewed videos in Facebook and YouTube, respectively.

 

She is working along with her church Jesus Ministries International, her family and also ZINGOMA Trust is giving her ideas on how to go about the launch to make it even more successful.

 

There are a number of high-profile invited guests for the launch. These include theMinisters of State Both Bulawayo Metropolitan and Mat North, and also their Provincial Administrators; Honourable Obert Mpofu; Pastors from various churches and their followers; parents, friends and colleagues. Supporting Artists include Cicil Tashy, Ringo Fosho, Collen Nyathi, Mrs Nyama, Victory Sounds and Admire Nago.
