MP Edwin Mushoriwa comes to rescue of Glaudina Primary School

Following the failure of Glaudina Primary School to open its doors when schools opened last week, Mr Edwin Mushoriwa, the Member of the House of Assembly for Dzivarasekwa, together with Ward 40 councillor, Stephen Dhliwayo convened a Crisis meeting with all stakeholders and came to the rescue of the institution.
The stakeholders were  City of Harare  represented by the Director of Housing and other officials. The Ministry of Education was represented by the District Schools Inspector for Maberleign-Warren Park District. The Developer, Naldline Pvt ltd was represented by its Director and officials and the community represented by their school development committee.
 “After our fruitful engagement we resolved that Glaudina primary school shall open its doors to learners on Monday 20 January 2020 catering for pupils up from Grade One to Grade 5. The Developer and it’s contractor with the assistance from City of Harare and the community shall from 15 January to 19 January 2020 do everything possible to ensure that the minimum health and educational standards are put in place at the School to enable proper learning. The right to Education for more than 860 pupils so far registered at the school should be defended and accordingly all stakeholders will do everything necessary to make Glaudina Primary School a leading educational institution,” Hon Mushoriwa said.
