Musician Lovezh bounces back with a new video

By Sowell Chikwari (Entertainment Reporter)

Afro-fusion music star Lovemore “Lovezh” Nerudzo has unveiled a new video for Elengina off his 2019 blockbuster project Mwari Mupenyu.

The video comes barely a week after the 35-year old Brave Stars Band leader rattled the market with his latest album Giant Wanyanya which is currently receiving favourable airplay across local radio stations. The 10-track album carries the hit I Want to Marry You which is trending on social media and has since triggered a dancing competition on Facebook.

The month-long contest which began on 18 August will see the winner walking away with US$50. Terms and conditions are available on Lovezh and the Brave Stars Facebook page. Contestants are required to do a one-minute dance routine and share it on the Facebook page. It is open to all dancers who wish to contest.

The video was produced by Lloyd Mhungu at Eagle Focus Studio in Harare.
“Elengina’s video tells a unique love story. It was produced on public demand. We timeously released it yesterday to complement our latest album Giant Wanyanya which is already doing well on the market. It was tailor-made to make our fans dance and enjoy our beat.

“We encourage our fans to like and follow our social media pages including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Your feedback helps us to improve our brand by enhancing our products’s appeal,” said Benhilda Antonio, Lovezh and the Brave Stars’ media and publicity liaison officer.

His albums include Farai Nesu (2017), Chikuru Kufema (2018), Wenyama Ngaafare (2019), Mwari Mupenyu (2019) and Giant Wanyanya (2020).
