Discussion runs from 3 June to 3 July 2019
In October 2018, the Government of Zimbabwe introduced the Transitional Stabilisation Programme (TSP) to stimulate economic growth and stabilise the macroeconomic situation in the country.
The Programme outlines policies, programmes and projects that will guide Zimbabwe’s socio-economic interventions and initiate policy responses to position the country toward a middle-income economy by 2030.
Attainment of these goals and objectives will require collaboration between the Government, citizens, the private sector, civic organisations, development partners among others.
A shared understanding among citizens and stakeholders of the proposed reforms and policy responses is therefore important.
Citizens are invited to participate in this online dialogue with the following objectives and expected impact:
- Enhance understanding of the TSP through dialogue among citizens, civil society, the private sector and other non-state actors;
- To contribute input into future development plans; and
- Expand scope for constructive dialogue, engagement and accountability among citizens and the government on development planning, monitoring and implementation of the TSP.

From 3 June to 3 July 2019
The online consultation will present four key areas:
Discussion 1: Reforms and Policy Responses;
Discussion 2: Relevance – Today and Tomorrow;
Discussion 3: Implementation and Monitoring; and
Discussion 4: Transparency and Accountability.
This is a unique opportunity for expanding the scope for dialogue on the country’s development priorities. Your participation will make this dialogue a success by:
