Rotary International President to grace Youth Symposium in Harare

The Rotary International (RI) President Mark Daniel Maloney will on 7 March 2020  attend a Youth Symposium at Dominican Convent High School in Harare between 8am  and 1pm.
President Mark will be the second Rotary International President to visit  Zimbabwe. The aim of the symposium is to present community service projects facilitated by young people in District 9210 under Rotary’s Youth Service programs.
Rotary International District 9210 comprises of Malawi, Northern Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe and the event will see youth coming from different parts of the district  to celebrate and fellowship with President Mark.
Rotary believes in developing the next generation of leaders. Its programs help younger  leaders build leadership skills, expand education and learn the value of service.
In  attendance will be members of EarlyAct, Interact, Rotaract, Rotary Youth Exchange,  Rotary Youth Leadership Awards and Rotary New Generations Service Exchange which  are the youth programs present in Rotary International District 9210. All of these youth  programs are connected to a Rotary club in the geographic area of service.
Wondering what Rotary International is all about!? Follow Rotary Club of Msasa and familiarise yourself with the international organisation that is saving lives where access to medical services has become unreachable for some. The Rotary International President Mark Maloney and his wife Past President Gay Maloney are currently in Zimbabwe participating in a medical mission in Mutare along with a team of doctors and volunteers. Today 6 March 2020, the Rotary clubs in Harare will host a Gala Dinner for the president where he will interact with fellow Rotarians and guests and share more on Rotary International.
