Norton-based prominent cleric, Brighton Chikomo will celebrate his birthday with an ‘unusual’ lineup of Sungura and ZimDancehall musicians.
The prophet who grabbed headlines for using honey to heal said preparations for his birthday on the 9th of July are at an advanced stage and this year he has decided to court Sungura and Zimdancehall artistes for the birthday fiesta.
“It’s going to be an epic show to celebrate my life. The show will be headlined by artistes like Mark Ngwazi, Culture Love, and Romeo Gasa.
“There will also be a number of Sungura gospel artistes who will be supporting,” revealed Chikomo.
The show dubbed ‘Celebrating the Life of Prophet BB Chikomo Birthday, Winter Family Show, Braai Party’, will be held at Chikangwe Council Hall in Karoi.
The Bright Light Prophetic ministry founder once courted controversy after introducing sex-enhancing oranges.
Despite the controversies, Chikomo maintains that all his works are grounded in God’s principles.
