South Africa-based upcoming Zimdancehall artist, Evelyn Malovu (38) – aka Queen Eve – yesterday officially released her debut single on YouTube and other social media platforms.

Titled Tirivaviri, the track is a Shona love song. Produced by Jah Agent at his Yards Salute Production Records, the single features one of Soldier Love’s musical prodigies, Tinotenda Munyoro (aka T Man).

The launch of the song on social media was the songstress’s effort to contribute to the fight against the deadly Covid-19 pandemic.

Born in the gold mining city of Kadoma, Queen Eve embarked on her musical career early this year. She has been under the mentorship of the talented 21-year-old Zimdancehall artiste T Man for the past couple of months.

T Man had this to say about the budding musician’s prowess and musical capabilities: “Queen Eve is a powerful musician. I started mentoring her a few months back but the progress she has made is amazing. She definitely has a bright future in the entertainment industry, ”

Queen Eve says her sources of inspiration are fellow Zimbabwean musician Masimba Jekete – aka Mr. Mawaza – and internationally acclaimed female artist, Rihanna.

“My sources of inspiration are Rihanna and Masimba Jeketa – aka Mr. Mawaza,” the songstress pointed out in an interview.
