Astro Mobile partners American company to bring a new device into African markets

One of the country’s cellular phone companies, Astro Mobile Africa has partnered  American based technology giant, Logic Mobility as they enter Sub Saharan and African markets with a new device which is expected to be launched in a few weeks’ time, this publication exclusively reports.

In an exclusive interview with Spiked Online Media, Astro Mobile Africa Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Munyaradzi Gwatidzo revealed the developments.

“Astro Mobile will in the next months’ launch two brands on the market, Logic, and Genesis. By the end of next week, we are launching Logic a mass-market product which will have smartphones accessories and smart devices.”

“We have partnered with an American company called Logic Mobility, which will now be our mass-market brand.”

“The joint initiative will see the Logic brand being launched in Zimbabwe, which is definitely big news for the Zimbabwean technology space,” said Mr. Gwatidzo.

Mr. Gwatidzo also added that customers will no longer be seeing mobile phones written Astro. Astro Mobile Africa is now a group that owns Logic Africa and Genesis.

The two new technology brands in the market dubbed Logic and Genesis are part of an effort to create affordable devices for Sub Saharan and African markets, where both civil servants and non government employees will be able to buy these gadgets on credit.
