Harare based Policy Researcher and Zimbabwe Institute of Strategic Thinking Country Director Tinashe Eric Muzamhindo has published a book, “Try New Spanners” set to make significant inroads in the market with personal life-touching experiences that relate to our own situation as a nation.

The book points out many areas that commonly affect society’s psychological and cultural aspects as we go through many phases of life.

At a time when Zimbabwe is going through rough patches of socio-economic development matters, the book is applicable to life practicality, as the major driving force of change of mindset.

People from all walks of life attending the book launch

The book consists of motivational, socio-economic development measures that our country can adopt for a better Zimbabwe.

Amongst the topics are Change of Mindset, Encouraging people to deal with Mindset, Positivity, and How to accept change.

“Failure is not an option. All that glitters is not gold. Embrace hard work, pick up broken pieces. There is a need for building relationships as a major milestone. We should do away with a society where we are surrounded by toxic politics, intolerance, and failure to accept others,” Muzamhindo said.

Former Reserve Bank Governor of Zimbabwe, Dr. Gideon Gono was the Guest of Honour at the book launch. He talked of change of mindset

“Let’s work towards realising our dreams. We need perseverance. Personally, I am working on introducing public lecture series as a way of continuing to serve my own nation through various initiatives. This book “Try New Spanners” is not a bad idea even in the society we live in.

“Let’s be united as a nation. We should be focused and work together to bring development. The Covid 19 pandemic opened our minds to new ideas, new thinking, a new approach, new strategies. Zimbabwe must apply strategic thinking,” Dr. Gono said.

Political leadership across the political divide met on Muzamhindo’s book launch.

Senior officials, former governors of the Reserve Bak of Zimbabwe, Mayor for various cities and towns, the business community, lawyers, members of Parliament and politicians from the ruling and opposition parties were in attendance
