Vengai Dzvedere, the Director of Nzedaz Bitcoin Academy and Corporate Director of United States-based Nui International has said that cryptocurrency is the new gold as far as investment is concerned.
He was speaking during his company’s business presentation seminar held at the Batanai Mall in Harare that focused on the introduction to cryptocurrency and live trades among other important topics on the trade.
With a reference to Investopedia, Dzvedere said a cryptocurrency is a form of digital asset based on a network that is distributed across a large number of computers. He said experts believe that blockchain and related technology will disrupt many industries, including finance and law.
“I was introduced to cryptocurrency around 2012 when I was studying network marketing. I have realised that it was the wrong way of being introduced to cryptocurrency. As a result, I lost money to scammers. That experience prompted me to start developing skills and learning how cryptocurrency works. In 2016, I opened Nzvedaz Bitcoin Academy which is teaching cryptocurrency for free from that year to date and we will continue into the unforeseeable future.
“From 2019, I have been travelling to almost all the cities around the world teaching cryptocurrency with a focus on how not to lose money in cryptocurrency. Our academy is rankled the best in Africa,” Dzvedere said.
In Zimbabwe, a number of people using cryptocurrency have ventured into various businesses including real estate and transport using profits from cryptocurrency. Others have personally developed and acquired their own houses and trendy cars.
Tafadzwa Tokwe, a cryptocurrency trader based in Harare said she joined in July 2021 and has been trading in spots.
“I would realise profits ranging between 10% and 20% on a daily basis. When I tried futures trading, I was making profits of between 100% and 200%. Unfortunately, that was short-lived because I had gone into trading without acquiring adequate knowledge. At one point, I got liquidated of everything I had realised in one week.
“Thanks to Nzvedaz, we are learning about futures and risk management in cryptocurrency. We are being encouraged to take cryptocurrency one step at a time. Trading in spots and futures at a smaller scale is helping me to raise money to build my portfolio which I will unveil in 2025, The profits are reasonable,” Tokwe said.
Nyasha Dube told Spoked Online Media that she was introduced to cryptocurrency by her childhood friend who is based in South Africa.
At first, she was reluctant because she had lost money to MMM Pyramid Scheme. Her eureka moment came in 2019 when her best friend hit a jackpot in cryptocurrency and bought herself a brand new car and a house for her parents. She immediately joined the cryptocurrency and is assisted by Nzvedaz via Zoom online meetings.
“I was employed before joining cryptocurrency but with the new baby that I have, I have no motivation to go back to work. I realise enough money to pay bills, buy food and clothes in the comfort of my home. In cryptocurrency, I am realising profits of above 10% on a daily basis. On a good day, the profits can go up to 50%. I am also investing in portfolios for the future.
“Nzvedaz Bitcoin Academy is the real deal because the mentors don’t take clients’ money. They teach us how to trade using our own accounts. Joining the academy as a member is a further step in gaining knowledge in the trade and guarding against scammers,” Dube said.
