Kadoma-based multi-talented Rapper 1NO is set to release a new music project. Born Tafadzwa Takunda Dodzo, 1NO or DOIC (Destiny of One Child) as he is affectionately known by his legion of fans, said the project is nearing completion and will be availed to the fans as soon as he finishes working on it.

One of the songs that will feature on his new offering is titled ‘Dreams’. It is a very entertaining freestyle song which touches on various aspects of life. Speaking in an online interview with this publication, the talented Rapper who is also a resident beat Maker under MINEBOI/APEIRO GANG had this to say, “l am going to release my third and final solo project next year. I have recorded one song so far and I have got plenty of lyrics, beats, and ideas to choose from.”

The 31-year-old song writer made his entry into the music arena at a very tender age . He started his musical journey when he was still in his early high school years at St Faith’s Boys High (Rusape)

Dodzo released his debut track in 2008 together with Norman ‘Nastro’ Mhondoro (one of Kadoma’s hip hop pioneers). Later that year the hip hop star teamed up with his young brother Kudakwashe ‘Flyts’ Dodzo to form the hip hop collective Atilly group. The duo performed Acapella, Gospel and Hip hop songs at Jameson High School (Kadoma) where he was doing his A level.

1NO met with his mentor, producer and business partner, Enerst Brad Jackson Nyumbu AKA Brad Jae who introduced him to beat making. The two have worked together up to this day to build Atilly Fam Cooperation now A.Z.G.O.D.M.A.F.I.A.

The young artiste is inspired by his brother Rutendo Vimbai Dodzo and he idolizes ‘TI and Jeezy. “My source of inspiration is my brother Rutendo Vimbai Dodzo who taught me how to write songs at a tender age,” said the free stylist.
