At the start of the holy month of Ramadan, DStv’s Muslim viewers have an additional channel to reinforce their month of fasting and reflection with the launch of Ramadan TV.
Liz Dziva, publicity and public relations manager of MultiChoice Zimbabwe, said the pop-up channel would operate from Friday, April 1 for 4 weeks to the Day of Eid, with the sighting of the moon at the end of Ramadan.
“Content will be sourced from within Southern Africa as well as internationally,” she said.
Ramadan TV is available on DStv channel 346 to Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Family, and Access customers.
“Programming includes live prayer broadcasts, live pledge lines, messages from leading Islamic scholars, daily Quraan programmes, and live iftaar programmes.”
