Jongwe Corner this weekend dishes a successive double on Saturday and Sunday as it plays host to one of South Africa’s sweetest voices, Nkosazana Kimberly Nzama trending as Nkosazana Daughter.
On Saturday Nkosazana ignites Harare and on Sunday brings the curtain down on her double performance in Chinhoyi. Silent Killer provides cover for both shows.
In Harare, Trevor Dongo completes the cast while Bling 4 takes over in Chinhoyi.
A rich list of local wheel spinners for the double sojourn are MC Gudo, DJ Tony Touch, and Sticky Fyah for the Harare edition. MCs Breezy and Prophet, alongside DJs Gargamel and Kay Briz, are behind the turn tables for the Chinhoyi installment.
The main act is a melody maker well known for the hit song Amaputha ft Master KG, and Lowsheen. Other songs that have earned her kudos include Nompela, Ulala la, Valentine’s, In Love With A Foreigner, and Ngeke. The Amapiano exponent has collaborated with some of the best artists in the region including iconic Master KG, Lowsheen, roof-top producer Wanitwa Mos, and Murumba Pitch.
Sir Trill, who’s rumoured to be her sweetheart featured on some projects including Khuwe. Her debut album released on June 23, this year, Uthingo Le Nkosazana, is described by the respected entertainment website Ubetoo.com as “A 13-track album that showcases her musical style and talent.”
Adding, “It can make waves on the music scene.”
Rallying her brand new mixed grill on YouTube, the diva chants, “It’s Nkosazana Daughter. My album Uthingo Le Nkosazana is out. It’s available on all social media platforms. There are a couple of love songs and a number of producers which I think you will love. Thank you for your support.”
On the album, she has collaborated with a long list of a rare cast including Caswell, Chronical Deep, Deeper Phil, Kabza de Small, Dj Givy Baby, Major League DJs, and engaged a number of producers with Nigerian Young Jonn, the headline.
For one to feel the thrill, the first phase of US$5 tickets is washed away. What remains on advance terms are US$15 for two and the VIP US$10 ticket per head.
These are available at all Jongwe Corner spots, Harare and Chinhoyi, at Techtools Hardware and DTL Records.
