In it is quest to foster the development of sports, arts and culture as well as improving the environment, NetOne has partnered the Harare International Festival of the Arts (HIFA).

Announcing the partnership at a press conference on the eve of the official opening of HIFA, Lazarus Muchenje, the Chief Executive Officer of NetOne said his company was proud to be associated with a world-class and renowned brand when it comes to the festivals space.

“It is without any hesitation that as NetOne we pride ourselves in associating with HIFA. This year as NetOne we are looking forward to the NetOne Day and hope to have a memorable experience on the day. NetOne has a keen interest in the development of sports, arts and culture and the environment among other initiatives.

“Our recent partnership with the Big three teams in Zimbabwe’s football is a testimony of our commitment to the development of sports. Now this partnership with HIFA allows NetOne to positively impact the arts and culture sphere as a number of unheralded artists will be given a chance to showcase their talent, not only locally but even internationally,” Muchenje said

He said the ultimate aim was to see the positive transformation for the artists and all those associated with the festival whilst also giving the nation a chance to enjoy its rich culture.

The Netone day will be Thursday 3 May 2018. Lira from South Africa will be the major artist to perform on the NetOne Day. In line with its dynamism as NetOne, Slavic Saul Party will cap the day.

It is largely hoped that Lira’s exquisite voice will serenade all musical lovers who shall be part of that great day.

NetOne is the largest mobile network operator in the country with products that are tailored to give the best value to the nation.

“Our OneFusion package remains the best bundled product on the market and this package gives subscribers total control over their communication needs. We are a customer-centric entity that delivers seamless communications solutions with an edge. With the crunching liquidity crisis affecting our economy, the need for a cashless society can never be undermined. We delivered our OneMoney platform, which is the most affordable yet integrated mobile financial solution on the market. The product comes with a debit card that is linked to Zimswitch and ZIPIT thus allowing the service to be accessible on the over 16 banks on the ZIPIT platform.

“This easily allows the movement of funds from OneMoney to all these banks. To give more convenience to our clients, we have just extended our operating hours. Weekdays we open from 0800hrs – 1700hrs, Saturdays from 0800hrs – 1600hrs and Sundays from 1100hrs – 1600hrs.”

Manuel Bagorro, the Founder and Trustee of HIFA said his organisation relies on the partnership of many different types including corporates like NetOne, diplomats, the government and people from across the world.
