NetOne donates essential hospital and clinic equipment to Nyanga North community

Mobile telephony giant, NetOne, as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), has embarked on a significant health campaign initiative in Nyanga North Constituency.

Speaking at a prestigious occasion where NetOne made the generous donation of hospital and clinic equipment that was graced by Lieutenant General Anselem Nhamo Sanyatwe, the Commander of the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) who was accompanied by Hon Chido Sanyatwe, the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage of Zimbabwe and a member of the National Assembly for Nyanga North Constituency, Mr. Matope, the NetOne Regional Manager who was standing in for Engineer Raphael Mushanawani, the NetOne Chief Executive Officer, said the partnership with the Nyanga North community marks a pivotal moment in the journey towards improving healthcare access and quality for all Zimbabweans.

“Under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, and the framework of the National Development Strategy (NDS) and Vision 2030, we are making strides towards a more prosperous, inclusive, and healthy Zimbabwe.

“Today, NetOne is proud to donate essential hospital and clinic equipment to the Nyanga North community. This donation includes blood pressure machines, sugar testing kits, wheelchairs, hospital bed sheets, baby scales, and specialized lotions for individuals with albinism. These contributions are not merely tools; they are lifelines that will enhance the capabilities of our healthcare providers and improve the lives of countless individuals. This initiative embodies our commitment to ensuring that no one and no place is left behind in our pursuit of sustainable development and national progress,” Mr. Matope said.

In her acceptance speech, Hon Chido Sanyatwe said health is a cornerstone of development, and by supporting the health infrastructure in Nyanga North, NetOne was investing in the well-being and future of the nation.
