SADC Chairmanship: NetOne, Global Renaissance, and war veterans congratulate President Mnangagwa

Congratulatory messages were pouring in for His Excellency, Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe who assumed the Chairmanship of the Southern African Development Community, at the 44th Ordinary SADC Summit in Harare on 17 August 2024.

 

NetOne, Zimbabwe’s government-owned mobile telephony giant, led the pack in heaping praises on President Mnangagwa.

“The Board, Management, and Staff of NetOne (Pvt) Ltd proudly congratulate His Excellency, Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, on the successful hosting of the 44th SADC Summit and your esteemed appointment as the SADC Chairperson. Your visionary leadership has not only demonstrated Zimbabwe’s commitment to regional unity and development but also highlighted our nation’s pivotal role within the Southern African Development Community.
“We are confident that under your guidance, the SADC region will continue to thrive, fostering greater integration, economic growth, and sustainable progress. NetOne (Pvt) Ltd stands in full support of your efforts to advance the collective goals of the SADC community,” NetOne said in statements broadcast across various media platforms electronic, print, and digital.
A business, ICT, and economic development consultancy firm, Global Renaissance, run by Mr. Ngoni Dzirutwe weighed in.
“Global Renaissance Investments Board of Directors, Management, and Staff wishes you all the best of the term. We are truly humbled by your Visionary leadership locally and beyond the borders,” the firm said.
The Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA) which advances the welfare of liberation war fighters, also praised its Patron, President Emmerson Mnangagwa for assuming the chairmanship of SADC.
“The ZNLWVA National Chairman, Alderman Cde Elias Moffat Marashwa; the Vice National Chairman Cde Priscillah Thabisile Shoko; the ZNLWVA National Executive Committee members, Provincial Chairmen, and all members of the association wish to extend our congratulations to our Patron H. E. the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe on his appointment as the chairman of SADC.
