HARARE, ZIMBABWE – Exciting news! Innovative ICT training sessions for children are launching today at Borrowdale Methodist Church in Harare, delivered by local EduTech startup Teach Me Too. This initiative is part of the church’s CSR program, providing a safe environment for kids to explore their creativity and interests while steering them away from harmful influences and drug use.
The November program is designed for students who have finished writing their exams and features a comprehensive curriculum, including coding, artificial intelligence, robotics/internet of things (IoT), and graphic design. The cost for the November class is USD $55 for 3 weeks, making digital skills training accessible to all. This is a fantastic opportunity for parents to encourage their children to learn new skills that are relevant in this digital age instead of spending time at home or on social media.
In addition to the November sessions, Teach Me Too will offer a December holiday program—a one-week boot camp open to all primary and high school students for only USD $25. With several experienced teachers on board, they ensure an excellent student-to-trainer ratio.
Lead trainer Ruramai Nhapata brings a wealth of experience to the program, having worked with Fortune 500 companies and taught her innovative curriculum at an American International School.
Spaces are limited, so parents are encouraged to book early! Let’s ignite innovation in the next generation!
