Engineer Edzai Kachirekwa was formally inducted as one of the Big 15 Hall of Fame inductees by the organisers of the Zimbabwe Community Trailblazers Awards on 15 January 2025 at the majestic Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).
The Zim Community Trailblazers Awards Hall of Fame is a prestigious recognition programme that celebrates the outstanding contributions and achievements of exceptional community leaders and organisations.
As one of the Big 15 Hall of Fame inductees in the energy sector, Engineer Kachirekwa demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and dedication to creating positive change in children’s cancer relief including clinical care, advocacy, and case management.
As an inductee, Engineer Kachirekwa was recognised for outstanding contributions and achievements and was presented with a commemorative award. He was also featured in a special publication and exhibition showcasing the stories and achievements of the Big 15 Hall of Fame inductees.
