No turning back on development: Dr Paul Tungwarara

The wave of development is not stopping, President Mnangagwa’s Investment Advisor, Dr Paul Tungwarara revealed at a rally at Gwengavi Primary School in Masvingo West Constituency.
In appreciation of the ruling ZANU (PF) party’s electoral victory in Masvingo Province and countrywide in 2023, Dr Tungwarara, under the Presidential War Veterans Schemes, handed over 500 bicycles, food hampers, and US$120 cash to the war veterans in attendance.
Hon Tatenda Mavetera, the Minister of ICT, Postal and Courier Services handed over computers and a Starlink kit to Gwengavi Primary School, in pursuit of promoting digital literacy and education.
She also introduced a Pass-on Goat Scheme aimed at empowering young women.
These initiatives are in line with Zimbabwe’s Vision 2030 of an upper-middle-income economy by 2030. The government has also initiated various programs, such as innovation hubs in state universities, to promote entrepreneurship and productivity among young people.
In attendance were the Guest of Honour Cde  Douglas Mahiya, the ZANU (PF) National Secretary for War Veterans; Minister of State Security, Cde Lovemore Matuke; MP for Masvingo West; and Minister of State for Masvingo Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Hon Ezra Chadzamira.
