Coming hard on the heels of this historic diamond jubilee trade fair is an equally pulsating show that has all the ingredients of a thriller.

The showdown bash at Queens Sports Club today is a gig weighing in on a fair that has lived to its billing.

The biggest and most celebrated edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) sets the sun today and the music extravaganza could not come at a better time.

Fair goers are in for a treat of a life time. They will definitely close the eventful week on a high.

Event organiser DTL Records said they always want to dish out the best for music lovers: “Our aim is to be the best promoters of music for the artists and music fans alike.”

This gig reignites battles on the music scene that seem to have no end.

High riding duo of multi award winners, Winky D and Jah Prayzah take their battle to the city of Kings (and Queens) famed for its blood cuddling battles from precolonial times.

The two artists managers may like to deny it but a storm always brews whenever they take to the same stage. They also do justice to the debate that they are heir to the country’s music throne.

What with this one coming a night after one performance at Rainbow Towers, sharing the same stage alongside Nigerian star Patoranking.

There is always top notch delivery from the two camps. Their latest song and accompanying video offerings are still hot on the lips of critics and fans.

Takura has stood the test of Urban Grooves time and has fit well into the Zimdancehall era. He’s part of the cast.

Another award winning artist EXQ is slated to dish out his sing along tunes that have made him a household name since he popped on the music scene.

He is one artist who can scream the young and old with equal measure.

Music diva Novuyo Sea Girl adds the feminine flavour to the stage with her style that has fitted well on any stage, she never disappoints this melodious dynamite.

The music fiesta is a diverse offering. Sungura fans should feel included with the ropping in of Sungura Masters a recipe for those fast paced ‘Borrowdale’ dance moves reminiscent of horses at the famed race course, Borrowdale.

“I’m definitely going to this show to complete my trade fair experience. It is really exciting here and I want to make sure all ends on a high,” said Rickie Ncube of Emakhandeni who was at the ZRP stand.

When DJs are given an opportunity to showcase what they have to offer, they usually want to impress big time. This will be another chance for DJ Skaiv to do justice to his inclusion on the list.

The experienced DJ is popular among outdoor fanatics. He knows his stuff big time.

Another fan said she has never seen Gaffer and JP on the same stage and this will be her time.

“I’ve never seen these two artists battling in the same stage. I love their music and will be part of the show, ” quipped Spiwe Ndhlovu who was at the Star FM stand here.

Those hyped to be part of the show have convenience in payment as all forms are available.
