Adam Molai Foundation has partnered with the QRent Zimbabwe who have donated 30 desktop computers to enhance educational opportunities for students at Dombotombo, Wenimbi, and Chamatendere primary schools in Marondera. This initiative aims to bridge the digital divide and provide disadvantaged students with access to essential technology.
Nomagugu Nyaundi, Executive Director at the Adam Molai Foundation, expressed her organisation’s excitement for their collaboration with QRent.
“This initiative with QRent will significantly impact the lives of students in Marondera. Access to technology is crucial for modern education, and we believe that this donation will open new avenues for learning and development. Our goal is not only to provide resources but also to inspire hope and ambition among these young learners,” she said.
Joe Napata, Head of Sales at QRent, expressed the company’s commitment to educational equity through supporting the work of the Adam Molai Foundation on its initiative to equip disadvantaged students with access to technology.
“As QRent, we have been working with educational institutions for the past 15 years to ensure equitable access to education through technology. For these communities, lack of computers has meant limited opportunities for students in their educational pursuits in a highly digital world,” he said.
By extending access to technology, Mr. Napata said, they were not just donating computers but investing in the boundless potential of the students, and their future as well.
