Harare – The Affirmative Action Group has launched a magazine titled The Art of Entrepreneurship.

Launching the magazine through a worldwide virtual launch in December, the guest of honor and AAG Life President and founder Dr. Philip Chiyangwa said the magazine will help document and highlight entrepreneurship success around the country.

“AAG was birthed out from the desire of marginalised Zimbabweans who called for equal sharing of the national resources. After independence, we challenged the status quo after realising that independence without economic independence was nothing. As young, we were together with the late Peter Pamire, fought the system which was taboo to challenge the white man who had access to all facets of the economy.

“As times went by, we saw more indigenous young people joining the movement and the organisation has become vibrant worldwide. People must be enlightened and be assisted through the magazine which becomes the monthly journal of entrepreneurship highlights from around the world. AAG is there to help people to be empowered economically. The magazine will expose various successful entrepreneurs and challenge those who want to make it in life so that when you think of money, you will think of AAG” he said.

The magazine which is being led by Philimon Nyirenda as the Editor in Chief will be published monthly.

Nyirenda said the magazine will feature entrepreneurship ideologies which is the anchor of many economies.

“Just as Dr. Philip Chiyangwa has managed to challenge economic discrimination through this monthly magazine, we intend to help people know the AAG ideologies on indigenous economic empowerment,” he said.

The first copy of the magazine was published in December and has an interview on the story of AAG with Chiyangwa.
