Amazing talent kicks off ACCES 2021

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

ACCES 2021 got off to a wet start at Constitution Hill in Johannesburg on Thursday evening when a highveld downpour decided to delay proceedings. But the show went on with our first showcasing artists flaunting their talent for an avid audience of music lovers and industry professionals from Africa and beyond. We thank Msaki (South Africa), Dendri Stambeli Movement (Tunisia), Urban Village (South Africa) and Buhlebendalo Mda (South Africa) for bringing their incredible sounds to ACCES 2021.

Due to the delay, we will now hold the Music In Africa Honorary Award ceremony on Friday evening. We have also moved Wamwiduka Band (Tanzania) to Friday’s line-up of showcasing artists. This means that the programme at Constitution Hill will begin at 6pm instead of 7pm.

The ACCES 2021 conference sessions will start from 10pm at Sci-Bono Discovery Centre – including keynotes, panel discussions, exhibitions, workshops and much more.
