Artists appeal to God to save the world from coronavirus

As the vaccine for coronavirus remains elusive, popular conscious music artists, Beven Masvosva and Walter Mangisi who is popularly known as Man Walle have turned to God for salvation in their latest release song.

In their song, “Fight COVID-19”, the artists acknowledge the ravaging impact of the virus that has left the world confused and the economies shattered.

“Talk about a virus, Talk about protection, Lord protect us in Jesus’ name,” goes a part of the lyrics. The creative artists go on to talk about global challenges but call for unity, peace, and seeking divine intervention as the only way to deal with the pandemic.

The song was written and sung by Beaven Masvosva and Man Walle.

“We need God’s protection through faith in Jesus Christ our Saviour. The world should act as one in addressing the challenges facing humanity as a result of COVID-19. In doing this, we must not forget the need to abide by decrees on social distancing and the importance of practicing good hygiene all the time,” Man Walle told Spiked Online Media.

He paid tribute to the duo’s producers, Vidas and M2K Sudios while encouraging upcoming artists to make use of the stable since they are friendly to new kids on the block.

The song is enjoying airplay on Radio Zimbabwe and National FM, thanks to popular DJ Shugeta who has fallen in love with it.
