Aster a brief hiatus, the wait is finally over.
Gospel music sensation, Blessing Shumba, is back with a brand new album, “Christos.”
This highly anticipated release marks a triumphant return for the award-winning artist, known for his powerful vocals and inspiring lyrics.
With “Christos”, Shumba shares a personal journey of faith, hope, and redemption, crafting a masterpiece that promises to uplift and inspire listeners once again.
The 12-track album, officially launched at a colourful ceremony, at a local hotel in Mutare last weekend, is an experience of soul-stirring sounds and heartfelt messages that have made him a beloved figure in the gospel music industry.
In an interview with this publication, on the sidelines of the successful launch, Shumba was an elated man.
“As the norm, we are continuing with the spread of the word of God. The album contains songs that restore hope,” said Shumba.
“My new album, ‘Christos’, is a labor of love and a testament to God’s faithfulness in all our lives. This project is a reflection to us as believers of God on our journey, struggles, and victories. I have poured my heart and soul into every song, and I believe it will bless and inspire those who listen,” he said.
The album, Shumba said,  is a declaration of God’s guidance and direction in our lives.
“The main message is of encouragement for those going through difficult times. I am excited to share this new music with the world, and I pray it will bring comfort, strength, and joy to all who listen. It is a movement of faith, hope, and love,” explained Shumba.
The album was produced by the two best producers in Mutare.
Joseph Makiwa of Makiwa Productions and Ollin Anderson from Kunashe Records exhibited their mastery and came up with a scintillating album, that has the propensity to take Shumba back to the top of the country’s gospel music.
