Leading Medical Aid Society Cimas has today launched the iGo Wellness Hub, a one stop health facility to provide Cimas medical aid members access to fitness, dietician, wellness coaching and general risk profiling under one roof at the Borrowdale Racecourse.
iGo- a health and wellness package that is unprecedented in the medical aid sector now offers services and benefits to all Cimas Medical aid members without having to pay subscriptions. In addition to fitness, dietician, wellness coaching and general profiling services Cimas Medical aid members will have access to the iGo strip which is an outdoor exercise track of 1.8km (adjacent to the Borrowdale Racetrack) that allows members free exercise at specified hours of the day and iGo Stairs which have doubled as an intense and effective calorie busting workout.
Wellness has eight dimensions namely physical, emotional, environmental, financial, spiritual, occupational, intellectual and social wellness. “At the iGo Hub we are ready to help our members address all eight of these dimensions” said Cimas Chief Executive Officer Mr Vulundlela Ndlovu speaking at the launch.

The Hub will host a range of wellness inclined events, cooking demos, financial wellness workshops and stress management.
iGo was launched in 2016 to ensure that members live healthy and longer, iGo had initially been accessible to MedExec and Private Hospital schemes` members for an additional subscription that included discounts at selected gyms and health spars. The package also included discounts for healthy meals at selected restaurants and relaxation at certain cinemas. Now it is being opened to all members on all schemes at no extra charge.
