Comedy comes to Norton

By Trevor Makonyonga

Norton is billed to come alive on Saturday as an entourage of Zim’s A-List comedians, Doc Vikela and Simba the Comic King are set to invade the small town where they are set to perform at Oliver Mtukudzi’s joint Pakare Paye Arts Center.
Supporting acts on the day will be Prosper, The Comic Pastor, Ashy Stryder and various open mic artists.

Speaking to Spiked, organizer of the event Renate Ncube said that the show will be different from the previous comedy shows held in Norton , “This show will be different in outlook and will be bar higher than previously. People must come expecting to laugh and crack their ribs” She said.

This will be not be the first time comedians have come to Norton as Carl Joshua Ncube and Clive Chigubu have previously performed in Norton.
