In an unforgettable moment of national pride and celebration on the 28th of June 2025 at the National Arts Gallery of Zimbabwe, Dr. Eng. Edzai Kachirekwa, the trailblazing CEO of Power Giants Private Limited Zimbabwe, was officially inducted into the prestigious National Hall of Fame yesterday during a grand ceremony in Harare.
This historic recognition cements his legacy as one of Zimbabwe’s most impactful engineers, policy thinkers, and humanitarian leaders — a man whose journey from humble beginnings to continental influence continues to inspire millions.
Guest Speaker Among Giants
Dr. Kachirekwa was the only Guest Speaker invited to address the distinguished gathering, speaking alongside Guest of Honour, Harare Mayor, His Worship Jacob Mafume. His powerful and heartfelt speech moved the audience to tears and thunderous applause, as he called for unity, innovation, youth empowerment, clean energy, and national pride.
“I dedicate this honor to every child in Shamva, every hustler in Kuwadzana, and every dreamer across Africa who refuses to give up, he said, his voice echoing with passion and purpose.
Heartfelt Gratitude
Dr. Kachirekwa graciously extended his deepest thanks to the National Hall of Fame Committee for the monumental honor and for selecting him as a Guest Speaker at such a landmark national event.
He also conveyed profound appreciation to:
– His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa for championing Vision 2030 and creating an enabling environment for innovators
– The First Lady of Zimbabwe, for her unwavering support of community-based development
– Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, for his commitment to national transformation
– Mrs. Tinashe Evelyn Kachirekwa, his beloved wife, for her love, prayers, and steadfast support

– The entire Power Giants team, stakeholders, and clients, for standing with him on the front lines of energy reform and national development
“Without all of you, I am just a man with a dream. With you, I’m a man on a divine mission.”_
