President Emmerson Mnangagwa has met with the out-going Egyptian ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mohammed Fahmy in Harare.
Fahmy paid a courtesy call on the president to bid him farewell as his tour of duty is coming to an end after serving his country in Harare for three years tour of duty.

The two discussed and reflected on a lot of issues dating back to 1963 when president Mnangagwa graduated from Harley Policy Military Academy in the Egyptian capital, Cairo and the assistance he received from president Kamal Nasser, one of the founding fathers of the organisation of African unity.
On the economic front, Ambassador Fahmy said his country will introduce a model farm in Zimbabwe, to enable farmers to get new technologies and develop ways of growing new crop varieties.
He also said relations between the two countries have been strengthened through the exchange of information.
After spending three years in Harare ,Ambassador Fahmy is heading back to Cairo for a possible assignment of duty.
