Gertrude Mandizvidza wins Outstanding Educationist and Community Development Practitioner award

Gertrude Mandizvidza was yesterday honoured with the Outstanding Educationist and Community Development Practitioner award at the Zimbabwe Community Trailblazers Awards held at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).

 

Announcing the award, Best Masinire, the Director of Ceremonies, said Gertrude Mandizvidza was being recognised for her exceptional contributions to education, community development, and philanthropy.

 

“Through her work as an educationist, chairperson of Jedidiah Trust, and mentor to other women, she has demonstrated her commitment to empowering and supporting vulnerable members of society. Our decision follows a rigorous evaluation process by our judges of your outstanding work in which you have consistently demonstrated excellence in transforming the lives of vulnerable people in our communities.

 

In arriving at the decision, the judges considered a number of achievements in the community.
