Global Renaissance Investments to host Smart Cities and Devolution Master Class 2024 in Nyanga

Global Renaissance Investments (GRI) is proud to announce the upcoming Smart Cities and Devolution Master Class 2024, scheduled from March 3rd to March 6th, 2024, at Troutbeck Resort in Nyanga.

This highly anticipated event will gather esteemed speakers and thought leaders to delve into the transformative potential of smart cities and devolution, under the theme “Towards Smart Cities by 2030 and Beyond.”

The Master Class will feature an impressive lineup of speakers, including esteemed dignitaries and visionaries in the fields of governance, urban development, and technology.

Among the distinguished guests will be the Guest of Honour and Minister of Local Government and Public Works, Honourable Winston Chitando. With a wealth of experience in both the private sector and public sector, Minister Chitando brings invaluable insights into the role of government in fostering sustainable urban development.

Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities Daniel Garwe is also expected to provide crucial perspectives on integrating smart technologies into urban planning using his expertise in housing and social infrastructure.

Ms Nabeelah Jogee, CEO of Century Star Solutions, will also be part of the leading presenters. A leading figure in the tech industry, Jogee will share her expertise in leveraging technology to create innovative solutions for urban challenges.

Another panelist is Alex Million, Former President of REIZ. Drawing from his extensive experience in real estate and urban regeneration, Alex Million will offer strategic insights into the transition towards smarter, more liveable cities.

Several other speakers including prof Joseph Kamuzhanje, GRI chairman and Mr Livison Mutekede, the Urban Councils Association of Zimbabwe Secretary General among others.

The Smart Cities and Devolution Master Class 2024 aims to foster dialogue and collaboration among policymakers, industry leaders, and community stakeholders to chart a course toward more inclusive, sustainable urban development.
