Kadoma City Council takes a leap forward in waste management with new refuse compactor

Kadoma City Council recently received a brand-new refuse compactor, much to the delight of its residents. The new truck was purchased to improve waste management in the city and alleviate the challenges faced by the current fleet.
For a long time, the city’s waste management system had been inadequate, leading to uncollected refuse piling up. The situation had become a health hazard, exposing residents to waterborne diseases. The city’s residents had accused the council of failing to establish an effective waste management system.
The new refuse compactor is a significant investment by the council to address the waste management challenges in the city. With this addition, the council aims to improve the frequency and efficiency of waste collection, ensuring that the city is cleaner and healthier for its residents.
“The Kadoma City Council has assured residents that the new truck will be deployed immediately to collect waste in all areas of the city. This move is expected to ease the long-standing problem of uncollected waste in the city.
“The residents of Kadoma have welcomed the new development, expressing their gratitude to the council for finally addressing their concerns,” said Mr Jelias Sinkileya.
“We hope that the new truck will make a significant difference in the city’s cleanliness and reduce the risk of disease outbreaks. The council has also promised to continue maintaining and upgrading its waste management infrastructure to ensure that the city remains clean and safe for its residents. The acquisition of the new refuse compactor is a significant step towards achieving this goal,” said Kadoma Town Clerk, Mr Malvern Dondo.
