The Shepherds Foundation Trust and Mumba Creations are excited to announce the launch of “Kupa Kunemufaro,” an innovative initiative aimed at providing free healthcare services to Zimbabwe’s creative and visual communications community. Scheduled for April 25, 2025, from 10 am-4 pm at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe, the event underscores the commitment to the health and well-being of creatives, writers, and media practitioners.
“Kupa Kunemufaro” will offer essential health services, including mental health support, and free health screenings for blood pressure, prostate cancer, and diabetes. Additionally, attendees will receive free reading glasses and have the opportunity to register for life insurance policies.
As part of the outreach efforts, the trust will also provide eye screenings, prescribed glasses, school fees, and food hampers to students from Chiredzi living with albinism.
The trust extends its heartfelt gratitude to its partners, including Morris Rock Resources, Msasa Park Private Limited, National Gallery of Zimbabwe, Litfest Harare, Old Mutual, Zimbos Abantu Healthcare on Wheels, Optical Express, and others, for their invaluable support.
