Seasoned Swedish based musician Makandire Chezhira Chikutu a.k.a ManLuckerz is set to hold a musical performance that includes children.

This is at a time most artists are focusing on adult revellers.

Music critics have flagged the children’s market as neglected.

“Uppsala’s annual Galen Festivalen takes place live at StadstrĂ€dgĂ„rden. Since the activity is geared toward children, everyone is invited, especially families with their kids”, said ManLuckerz.

“We have facial painting, theater, and courses available. ManLuckerz and Ceso Paco from Mozambique will lead an Afro-music workshop.

“We will impart songs and traditional drum beats from Zimbabwe.

“Other attendees will be singing, and everyone is welcome to join in the live performance of ManLuckerz And The Zim-Traditional Unity at 12.00 on the 24th of August.

“The festival, which is free to attend, is arranged so that families may come together and have a cultural experience that centers on their children and parents but also includes other family members.”

The world lacks children-based musical performances which makes this show special.

Special acknowledgment is given to the Cultural development people in Uppsala Community who can give the creative actors, both organizers and artists, the ability to keep art alive.

ManLuckerz is credited for spreading African culture overseas.
