Chinhoyi – Mashonaland West Agriculture Society will celebrate its 75th agriculture exhibition this year under the theme “Fostering a self-sufficient future, retaining a heritage”.
The show runs on 3-6 August 2022 with exhibition stand uptake currently standing at over 60% according to Mashonaland West Show Society Manager Brian Vengai.
He said the 75th show edition will be unique since the Dubai-Zimbabwe Business Council will be taking part in a move that will bolster synergies and business opportunities for Zimbabwean farmers.
“One of our highlights during our 75th show edition will be possible synergies and business opportunities created through the participation of Dubai-Zimbabwe Business Council where producers have a golden opportunity to market gateways to the huge customers in Dubai and UAE markets who need Zimbabwean farm products,” he said.
Vengai said this show’s edition is set to be bigger than last year which saw exhibitors being few due to the covid-19 induced limitations.
A farmers’ business breakfast meeting will be held concurrently with the show where at least 90 regular and new exhibitors have confirmed their participation.
