Eriah Tembo(32) – aka Bluu-T, the son of the late legendary musician Biggie Tembo maintains that his father is his source of inspiration.
The young artist revealed this in an interview to announce his return to the spotlight after a long hiatus.
The last born in a family of four boys, Eriah was only 6 years old when his father passed on. Heredity and environment led him to follow in his father’s footsteps.
Bluu-T launched his professional music career when he released his debut track Nguva Yareba in 2014.
Inspired to reach greater heights, he launched his first album Pachedu, the same year. The album was an 8-track Afro-jazz compilation.
The following year Eriah released his second album Musandishore which was a 6-track offering.
With Munya Vialy as his manager, Bluu-T unpacked his third album to the public in 2017. The album was titled Wandinzwa Here. Unfortunately, the album did not produce expected results and led to Munya Vialy’s departure for Canada. This proved to be a dent in the young musician’s career.
Bluu-T took a break from the limelight after the release of Wandinzwa Here. However, he continued to pursue his passion for music.
As the leader of the Bhundu Legacy Band – a ten-member ensemble – Bluu-T recently announced the scheduled release of a precursor track: ahead of the launch of a forthcoming ten-track album, Musandiregerere.
