People are flocking the homestead of the late comedian Clive Chigubu to commisserate with family members and friends with burial arrangements yet to be announced.
Babongile Skhonjwa, the family spokesperson revealed to this publication earlier today that no concrete plans for burial are in place by now.
A former Mzilikazi High student, the late Clive rose to fame after participating at one of the Amakhosi Talent Shows. On Wednesday the young artiste lost his battle to a form of cancer known as Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL). He was 32.
According to Babongile, the ailment which eventually claimed the seasoned comedian’s life was diagnosed in March.Clive had become a household name in the country’s entertainment industry and will be remembered for his famous quotation: “Science teaches us how the world was made, the Bible teaches us how to find joy in that world, comedy welcomes us to that joy.”
Mourners are gathered at house number BF33 in Barbourfields (the late Clive’s residence), Bulawayo.
