NetOne, in collaboration with the City of Harare, led a vibrant clean-up campaign in the heart of Harare’s Central Business District (CBD), aimed at promoting a cleaner, greener, and healthier urban environment.

The initiative, held on the first Friday of the month in line with the national clean-up programme, brought together NetOne staff, City of Harare officials, informal traders, and everyday residents who all rolled up their sleeves to sweep streets, pick up litter, and rejuvenate key public spaces.

The campaign is part of NetOne’s broader commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility under its Environmental Sustainability pillar, emphasizing that even small acts of care can lead to lasting transformation in our communities.

The atmosphere in the CBD was alive with energy and a spirit of togetherness as participants worked side by side, united by a common goal—to restore dignity to the city they call home. Beyond the cleaning, it became a moment of reflection and community bonding.

Officials reminded everyone that this is not just a one-off gesture, but a movement that takes place every first Friday of the month, calling on all citizens to take pride in their surroundings. Many passersby were inspired to join in, proving that when businesses, authorities, and the public unite, real change happens.

Through this collaboration, NetOne and the City of Harare are reigniting civic pride and proving that a cleaner CBD is possible—together.
