AFRO-FUSION crooner Nicholas Mazvazva and the Oceanic Breeze Band is set to release a new album before year-end, just in time for the festive holidays.

Titled Chipo Changu/ Isipho Sami, the 10-track album was produced and mastered by JD at All On One Music studio in Harare.

The new offering comprises English, Shona, Xhosa, Zulu, and Ndebele tracks. Potential hits from the album include Derby an English track as well as Iza and Nomvula (Xhosa songs).

Other songs are Maswera sei, Dziva,  Handizokanganwe (a special song dedicated to all mothers in the entire universe for their love and care in raising children against all odds), Ushaka, a Zulu track about the legacy of Shaka the Zulu. It features Sox the Poet who also recited a poem about Shaka in that song.

The other track, Mangibuza is a love song. Then Corona Yarwadza is at the Covid-19 track that seeks to encourage people to adhere to the World Health Organization (WHO) stipulated guidelines in combating the pandemic such as the need to practice hygiene, maintain social distancing, and washing hands with soap or sanitizers regularly.

The song is a prayer to God to heal the world from this pandemic. The other track is Chipo Changu/ Isipho Sami (the title track).

“So far I have already unveiled three tracks as singles to give my loyal fans and the public a feel of the new album. These are Maswera sei, Mangibuza, and Corona Yarwadza which I felt should be unleased urgently as the coronavirus cause havoc across the globe including in  Zimbabwe.

“I’m expecting to launch the album soon at a date to be announced but the launch will be in Harare,” said Nixaz as Mazvazva is widely known by his legion of followers.
