Writes Ahmed Fattouh (The Spokesperson for the Palestinian National Liberation Movement- FATEH)
The FATEH Movement strongly condemns the horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces west of Rafah, where thousands of starving Palestinian civilians were targeted at an aid distribution point in a grotesque war crime and a chilling testament to Israel’s sadistic use of starvation as a weapon of genocide. 32 Palestinians were killed and over 200 wounded in this barbaric assault, exposing the racist nature of both the US-backed Israeli war machine and the “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” that has shown no humanity.
This was no accident but a calculated act of extermination. Occupation forces deliberately lured starving civilians to a supposedly safe aid zone under the control of the Israeli army and US mercenaries, only to mercilessly gun them down. The systematic conversion of humanitarian points into killing fields reveals a sinister pattern of weaponizing desperation against a civilian population brought to the brink of annihilation.
Gaza has been transformed into an open-air graveyard through Israel’s genocidal campaign. Children waste away to skeletal shadows while mothers suffer catastrophic miscarriage rates from malnutrition. Entire families perish silently in the ruins of a healthcare system deliberately destroyed by airstrikes and blockades. This is not collateral damage but industrialized extermination – a fascist project of eradication enabled by Western governments’ complicity.
For 604 days, Israel has maintained apartheid-style checkpoints and detention camps designed to humiliate starving Palestinians and break the will, in an attempt to crush their resilience and push for an engineered mass displacement disingenuously labeled as “voluntary immigration”.
The UN Security Council and human rights organizations must:
1- Immediately intervene to stop this genocide
2- Provide international protection for the Palestinian people
3- Apply sanctions against Israel to deter these crimes against humanity
4- Prosecute Israeli leaders before the ICC – not appease them!
The blood of Gaza’s martyrs and the suffering of our women and children test the world’s conscience. These atrocities are a stain on the forehead of those who remained complicit and a stain in humanity’s collective moral fabric, but will only strengthen Palestinian determination for freedom and justice. History will forever condemn those who enabled this genocide.
Freedom to Palestine!
