Jehovah Jaire Choosen Generation pastor Darlington Matarirano of Glenview 1 is scheduled to launch his first album this coming December.
The young pastor-cum musician has been working on his first album since August 2020 and has finally succeeded regardless of all the odds.
“I started working on this project in August 2020 during the course of COVID- 19 lockdown , it was not easy for me as I had very limited resources to record my album,”said Pastor Matarirano .
He has two singles and the album that he is launching in mid December has nine tracks with the title track ”Zvirimandiri”.
A man of God who is passionate about music explained that singing is one of the beautiful ways of praising Lord as well as sharing His word with many.
”Preaching the word of God can be done in many ways. Singing and dancing to Him is another way as most people like listening to music,” he further elaborated.
Many artists shifted to market their music on social media due Covid 19 lockdown whereby all social gatherings were banned. This is that same case with pastor Matarirano who markets his singles on Instagram ,Facebook and at YouTube .
Pastors and other men of God have diversified their preaching by singing gospel songs to lure other congregants to worship the Almighty with the likes of Pastor Charles and mai Charamba , baba Mechanic Manyeruke and many others are also inspiring congregants and fans with their creatives.
Pastor Darlington Matarirano was born in Murombedzi, Zvimba in 1987 he did his primary education in Mucheri Primary School.
He then proceeded to Matoranhembe High School where he did his ordinary and Advanced levels.
After completing his ‘A’ Level, Pastor Matarirano was then enrolled at Bulawayo Polytechnic college where he acquired a diploma in Tourism and Hospitality .
During the years 2018 and 2019 a gospel musician focused on learning the Bible and religion at the college of Theology.
Pastor Matarirano is married with one daughter.
