Prophet Uebert Angel continues with his humanitarian aid to the needy during the COVID-19 when he donated food hampers to the needy in Norton community.
The wealthy businessman, philanthropist and man of the Cloth through his Uebert Angel Foundation recently donated tonnes of maize meal as part of a US$250 000 purse allocated to Zimbabwe.
The food hampers were handed over to Norton Member of Parliament Honourable Themba Mliswa who showered Prophet Uebert Angel for the good gesture.
Besides donating to the Norton community, Prophert Angel became the first man of cloth, to respond not only with prayer but in monetary terms to the COVID-19 through donating food, gloves, masks and hand sanitizers to different groups.
So far, he rolled out the programs in Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. The budget is being spread over a few months during covid-19 and rebuilding people’s lives after the coronavirus.
In an interview with Spiked Online, Hon Mliswa paid tribute to the donation saying it would do a long way in alleviating hunger in the community and impact of COVID-19 lockdown.
