Hip-hop artiste DroCole – real name Cleopas Lamont Nzerombairi – says the recent release of the video for his latest offering was in response to public demand. Titled Interior Ting, the musical video was officially launched as a follow-up to a track with the same title. The video was unpacked to the public, on YouTube and other social media platforms, on the 21st of February this year. interior Ting is the title of the youthful musician’s latest EP.

Complimenting the lyrics of the title track, the video gives a glimpse into the realities of life.

He had this to say about interior Ting: “I had been going through so much pain and misfortune as a result of childhood trauma and part of a mental conditioning. After many series of depression and anxieties, I finally had a spiritual awakening where I realized that all the answers we seek are on the inside. I learned that if I am to change my life’s circumstances I have to take a look within and address everything from the inside. That’s what inspired the creation of the song.”

The EP lnterior Ting is a 5-track compilation. lt is the 27-year-old musician’s second official offering. The audio of the EP was officially released to the public, on music platforms in November last year.

A former Kuwadzana High 1 and Ellis Robins Boys High student, DroCole admits that he also draws inspiration from other artists and fellow musicians. Among his key sources of inspiration is U.K-born musician, Central Cee – real name Oakley Caesar-Su.

Born in Mazowe, DroCole launched his professional music career when he released a mixtape titled Gutta Plan, in 2018. He released his maiden EP, Headed To The Top, in 2021.
