Following the recent official release of “Chakafukidza”, a collaboration video by Zimcelebs Fungai Kativhu, a hip hop star with the stage name “T-Hustle” and a soul afro-pop guru Russel Tawanda Matinyarare popularly known as”Russel Tawanda”, fans have been head over heels in the streets giving thumbs up to the amazig creative.
The collaborated latest musical video – is fast gaining popularity on the national television broadcaster Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) TV and many other media platforms.
The release of the video has seen the musical careers of the young duo being propelled to greater heights.
Produced as a result of public demand, the musical video was a follow-up to an audio track of the same title.
Chakafukidza uniquely tells the common story of marital wars and woes, behind closed doors.
Whilst the track was produced by Young Buoy at Future City Studios,the video is the handwork of Redcat.
In the past, T-Hustle and Russel Tawanda have collaborated on a plethora of projects and they believe their relation in the arts industry will continue to be strengthened.
Fungai appreciated his latter highlighting that their partnership has always been fruitful as they support each other as brothers who are determined to see each other flourishing and succeeding in as much as music industry is concerned.
“Well, to be honest whenever l want to fuse hip and urban grooves l look for my brother in arms Tawa whom you know as Russel Tawanda. We have worked on more than 15 projects together since 2013 when we met and we have been friends thereafter. When it comes to RnB, Tawa is the best,” he said.
