Tagwirei rewards George Shaya’s widow

Business mogul, Kudakwashe Tagwirei has rewarded George Shaya’s family with an RTGS$120 million dollar mansion in honour of the late veteran footballer.

The Sakunda giant visited the Shaya family yesterday afternoon, to fulfill the pledge he made for the family.

Tagwirei, who owns Sakunda, has been doing philanthropic work within and outside the country. Tagwirei, a low profile figure has been doing tremendous work without involving cameras, adopting several orphanages, and homes across the country.

The tycoon businessman whose business interests are in different sectors of the economy has impacted several lives. Tagwirei popularly known as K.T rescued two popular teams, Highlanders and Dynamos, and they have made tremendous progress, both in the local and international sporting arena.

Kuda has adopted several key projects, amongst them, Rufaro stadium which was abandoned for almost a decade, and has pledged to refurbish the facility to meet world-class standards.

The local business tycoon has paid fees to orphans across the country and has launched an empowerment scheme to assist small-scale miners and young entrepreneurs countrywide.
