A budding artist, Tapiwa Isaac Bandire has released a song which he believes is a therapy to the ravaging effects of the Covid-19 virus.

Speaking to this publication, Bandira popularly known as Taneqo said the single ‘Asbuyel’muva’ is an Amapiano track and is meant to comfort people in the wake of the ravaging Covid-19 virus.

“The song Asbuyel’muva which translates to no going back or no turning back seeks to give hope to everyone who incurred losses due to the pandemic.

“The track is an Amapiano sound and I am hoping it will be able to soothe the pain for all those who have been or being tormented by the pandemic,” said the Glenview 4 Extension-based artiste.

The single is a collaboration with another upcoming artiste Erezy Teez Brown from Marimba and the song was recorded at Roadblock Studios by DJ Budza in Mufakose

The versatile artiste is not new on the music scene. Two years ago, he released the album ‘Personally I Love You Hangu’ which was a 6-track album.

His debut album was Zambuko and he calls his music ‘Qoqo’ which is a fusion of AfroPop and Reggae

Taneqo was born in Gwanda and then relocated to Harare after High School.

The young musician sings in Shona and IsiNdebele which makes him appeal to a bigger audience.
