The Love Zimbabwe Festival in Chinhoyi, Mashonaland West Province which kicked off in February 2025 is set to conclude on April 6, 2025, and aims to promote unity and collective responsibility in building a prosperous Zimbabwe.

Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for the province, Hon. Marian Chombo, attended a high-profile luncheon organized by the festival, where she emphasized the need for leaders to inspire others to take concrete steps toward achieving an upper-middle-income society.

A group called Kubamba has been actively participating in the festival, preaching the word of God and spreading the Gospel throughout Chinhoyi. They have visited schools, and churches, and even organized a cleanup campaign with residents and all Church members.

The festival features various events, including music, drama, and entertainment, with performances by renowned gospel artists like Tembalami, Cypres, CJ, and more. Additionally, UK-based football freestyler, Al Johnson, will be performing at the festival, which will take place at Gadzema Ground in Chinhoyi.

Pastor Mafukidze, leader of EFZ and chairman of the festival steering committee said the festival is a collaborative effort of the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ), Zimbabwe Council of Churches (ZCC), Zimbabwe Catholic Bishops Conference (ZCBC), Apostolic Christian Council of Zimbabwe (ACCZ) and the Union for Development of Apostolic and Zionist Churches (UDACIZA) in partnership with Global Network of Evangelists(GNE).

He encourages everyone to attend the event and bring others to experience the power of faith.

“Let’s spread the word and bring every soul to the Lord Jesus Christ,” Pastor Mafukidze said.
