Feli Nandi the Zimbabwean songstress who has captivated audiences with her soulful voice and rhythms, has over the years evolved into a brand that embodies the essence of African music.
With a career spanning several years, she has consistently pushed the boundaries of her craft, experimenting with new sounds and techniques that have endeared her to fans across the continent.
As she prepares to launch her 3rd album, “Ndisiyei” on the 22nd of March at 7 Arts Theatre, Feli Nandi opens up about the inspiration behind her latest work, her creative process, and what fans can expect from the album launch event.
“Ndisiyei is a statement encouraging people to allow others to be themselves and follow their own paths.”
“For me, it is more personal and is based on real-life events and true stories so the creative process involved a lot of digging into the inner parts of me, a lot of meditation, and quiet time.”
The Munhu Wangu and Nguva hitmaker hinted that there is a special surprise in store for the Nandination, her legion of fans, while she did not give away too many details.
“The event will be an unforgettable experience and as for the album itself, it differs from my previous work in that I experimented with new sounds and techniques, pushing my musical boundaries”, she added.
