An American mining investor is supporting local mining communities by extending various philanthropic works to them.

MGG Holdings founded by Frederick R. McKoy, a United States business mogul, has its Zimbabwe subsidiary, MGG Advisory. The mining conglomerate has already started helping youths in Zvishavane who are into mining by giving them financial aid to start mining or to buy mining equipment to boost up production.

Local traditional leaders that were full of praises for Mckoy, confirmed that a number of youths from Zvishavane have been bailed out with start up capital to start small scale mining while others will be helped to get access to mining equipment that will enable them to scale up production.

The US-based company is said to be making strategic partnerships that will see an increase in American investors flocking into the country.

An employee who identified himself as Elijah, revealed there are more Americans set to jet in the country in the near future .

” I am currently, in Shurugwi at the mines and will be in Harare in a day or two , you can get in touch with our office in Harare” .
